Hi Paul, Hope you had a great day.
Spring is on the way even our British weather is getting warmer :) It will never reach your California standards but hey this is England! Our clocks go forward this weekend so the light nights are on their way thank goodness.
With love as always, Christine. xx

Spring has arrived in Florida following one of the coldest winters on record for the south. Hope you had a wonderful day Paul. Spring renews Mother Earth, our lives, new beginnings. Enjoy!!

I hope you had a great day.

It’s so wonderful to see the daffodils and crocus out. A little sunshine and colour makes all the difference.

I hope you had a lovely birthday.

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. Looking forward to even more sunshine, warmer weather, flowers blooming, birds singing, and outside days! Sometimes in late spring we can swim in our above ground pool.
In my area of B.C. we’ve had a mild winter, so here’s to a mild spring! :)

Pam – I really enjoyed your poem. That describes spring perfectly!

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone and oh yes T G I F!!!!

Hope you are having a really great day: A birthday; Easter eggs rolling round the corner – sounds like a recipe for eating chocolate and celebrate (Kosher for Pesach natch!)

PS I can’t resist this one. Spring is sprung, the sun is riz, I wonder where the birdie is; the little bird is on the wing…but that’s absurd: I always thought the wing was on the bird.
And that, folks, is the result of the sun shining on me after a heavy storm…spring fever!

    Hello Paul..

I would like to wish you a very Happy and Peaceful birthday.

Have been a fan since the S&H days and you’re the reason I became a police officer (only 6 years left until retirement – yippee!)

It’s a sure sign of Spring when you drive along the lanes and see the new born lambs…May the sun shine for you.

    Much Love – Jenny xx

just cruising through and see thoughts about the newness of re-birth, Spring! And, I wish all kindnesses to you Paul in this new birth year at your birthday.
here in Salem, it snowed and showered the ground, and peeping crocuses too with cold North winds again….justifying New Englanders with titles such as , ” Old Weathered Souls ” !
at any rate, the Sun will shine again soon and warmth will spring to bear summer vacationers soon.
    seasons twirl ’round….Life abounds.

    Enjoy this new day
    Take care of you
    see you soon

Nadine lives about 60 miles West of me…as she says – Spring is making a timid start; the sky is blue there and here (well it was this afternoon it’s black and full of stars as I type!)
I love her imagery of a the flowers in carnival costume colors; I went into town this afternoon and the daffodils round the old city walls were glorious truly like Worsdsworth’s ‘golden host’. the birds were singing like mad (and my cat was grinning on the terrace tee hee). Nadine offers you a bouquet of colors – great idea!

Spring has sprung here in the UK too, well at least in my part of it (Norwich, Norfolk)- amazing how it lifts the spirit and helps to see things in a new light, sunlight for one thing. I have one lonely daffodil in my garden but kudos to it for surviving and blooming on it’s own, a lesson in itself right there, you dont need to be part of the crowd to succeed. A bit shallow perhaps but I do struggle with expressing the deep and meaningful, though I do admire tremendously those who wax lyrically and I enjoy reading the words of wisdom on here.
    Happy Spring/Easter to everyone.

Ally I don’t believe it…the last place I lived in England was Norwich!
(puts on best Norfolk accent and says: dyewanna ge’in touch?’ – my e-mail is on one of the forum posts)

I hope Paul, that you had a lovely day for your birthday.
All this talk of Spring sounds lovely but down here we are going into Autumn. I do hope that all of you up in the Northern Hemisphere have a good spring as you have all had a very harsh winter. Here we have our autumn crocuses peeking out through the soil.
Never mind I shall experience the tail end of the European spring when I visit with Maria in Italy and Hilly in Provence in early May. Am really looking forward to visiting that part as I have never been there before.

Belated Happy Birthday! Happy Spring! This blog still amazes me. I spent February reviewing your directorial outings. Love Running Man and Prodigal Son. Thought Shazaam was cute.
Thank you for enhancing my life!
