VH1 Acknowledgement to Paul's LTA and S&H movie announcement....July 1, 2003
The show opens with several scenes form Starsky & Hutch.
Narrator: Paul Michael Glaser played dreamy Detective Dave Starsky on the ultimate 70?s show, Starsky & Hutch. Before he got street credit, Paul showed off his pipes and his moves in the 1971 big screen classic, "Fiddler on the Roof". (Scenes are shown here).
But it was his role as the dark-haired half of America ?s grooviest cop duo, Starsky & Hutch, that put him on the radar. The show was a ratings smash but after four seasons of cruising the streets in a souped-up Ford Torino, Starsky & Hutch ran out of gas in 1979.
(Picture stills of Paul, Elizabeth and family are shown here)

After losing their daughter in 1988, Paul & Elizabeth founded the Pediatric Aids Foundation. Sadly in 1994, after years of tireless activism, Elizabeth passed away.
(Paul is shown directing Running Man).
