Peter Pan Supporting Cast Biographies

REBECCA SEALE

Rebecca graduated with a BA (Hons) Acting in 1999 at the Liverpool institute for Performing Arts. She made her West End debut in Mamma Mia! At The Prince Edward Theatre, understudying and playing the lead role of Sophie. She then went on to understudy and play the role of Eponine in Les Miserables at The Palace Theatre, London. Other credits include; Soloist in the world Goes Round at the Kings Head Theatre in Islington, Linda in Insomnia at the Chapter Arts Theatre for the Cardiff International Festival of Musicical Theatre, Pitti-Sing in The Mikado with Charles Court Opera. She has also performed in numerous cabarets in and around the West End and is currently singing jazz at The Playrooms in Piccadilly, London. Rebecca gained a postgraduate Diploma with distinction from Trinity College of Music in June last year.

Most recently, Rebecca worked with Tim Rice in his 80?s revival rock opera, Blondel, at the Pleasance Theatre, London.

SAMANTHA GIFFARD

Originally form Plymouth in Devon, Samantha moved to Australia in 1996 and trained at the John Curtin College of Arts in Perth and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Her recent theatrical credits include Hermia in ?A Midsummer Nights dream? (UK tour and DUCTAC Theatre, Dubai), Ariel in ?The Tempest? (UK tour) and Vera in ?Silk Stockings? (Sadlers Wells, London). Others roles include Dinah Doll in ?Noddy live!? (UK and Portuguese tour), Frisky in ?The Road? (Her Majesty?s Theatre, Perth) and Ariel in ?Return to the Forbidden planet? (Playhouse Theatre, Perth).

Samantha has featured as a backing vocalist for Will Young (Royal Albert Hall) and Nana Mouskouri (Burswood Theatre).

Her television credits include presenting for children?s channel Nickelodeon, Australia and playing Lisa in ? Mama Mia? (Telethon Channel 10).

Samantha is delighted to be appearing as Wendy in ?Peter Pan?.

JOE TRACINI

Earlier this year Joe completed a national diploma in performing arts at Italia Conti Academy of Arts in London and was delighted to immediately land himself two excellent television roles; a lead in a BBC3 comedy pilot ?ComingOf Age?, which is due to go to series in 2008 and ?My Spy Family? ? a new sitcom for Nickelodeon, where he plays one of the lead roles ?Spike?, which is due to transmit weekdays on Boomerang in September.

Other guest appearances include: ?SM:TV Live with Steve Mullhern?, ?Ministry Of Mayhem?, ?Today With Des & Mel?, ?The Michael Barrymore Show?, ?The Joe Pasquale Show?, ?The Des O?Connor Show?, ?Wayne Dobson?s A Kind Of Magic? and ?Trickster? (ITV pilot).

His theatre credits include: playing Richard lll in Richard lll for Complete Works TIE Tour; Danny in A Sexual Perversity in Chicago at The Landor Theatre, London and previous pantomime experience in Peter Pan playing the role of Michael, and Little Joe in Snow White.

As well as being a very accomplished actor, Joe is also a talented magician, having started magic at the tender age of two.

In 2003, he received the title of ?British Junior Magical Champion? which he won at the Blackpool Opera House in front of 3,000 international magicians. At the same time he also won the title of ?Most promising comedy act of 2003?, chosen and presented by the legendary Ken Dodd, as well as coming third in the magic circle?s prestigious ?Young Magician Of The Year? competition.

Joe was delighted to recently become a member of The Magic Circle.

ANDY FORD

Recently featured in ?The Stage and Television Today?, as one of the top ten comedians in Britain , unique comic Andy Ford, began his professional career at the age of 12; Andy started to learn his stagecraft in those early days, particularly the skill of communicating with audiences. After winning many talent contests Andy joined his first Band at the age of 14, and was the front man for many years until the time he decided to go solo.

After a couple of single releases and airplay on BBC Radio 1, he moved to the Cabaret scene. Andy started to introduce more and more humour into the shows and it was the comedy side of his performances that really brought excited interest from various showbiz agents culminating in many tours and cruises either as a solo act or part of production shows.

In 1997 his unique style started to catch the eye of TV producers and he was chosen to appear on ITV?s Big Big Talent Show hosted by Jonathon Ross. His spectacular and original performance was so successful that the Executive producer Nigel Lithgoe invited Andy to appear on the Royal Variety Show that year in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip on the occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

More TV appearances followed including Talking Tel. Nos. In 1998 Des O?Connor invited Andy onto his famous couch and the merriment that ensued saw a return spot immediately booked for Des?s next series. Andy has also appeared on TV alongside such performers as Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, West Life, Shania Twain, Michael Bolton, Sir Cliff Richard, The Two Ronnies, Jim Davidson, Joe Pasquale, Ben Elton, The Spice Girls, Enrique Inglesias etc? Whilst all these Television spots were happening Andy kept up the live performances, moving into Pantomime where he always plays the ?Simple Simon? type part????.. Comedy and Sympathy a lethal combination!

Andy now has the reputation of being one of the best Panto lead comics in Britain and has appeared alongside many stars including: Leticia Dean, Beri Nolan, Michaela Strachan, Dean Gaffney, John Altman, Maureen Nolan etc etc. He was one of the most popular guests on ITV?s Des and Mel Show having appeared on it several times.

2006 saw the filming of his Television pilot show, ?Peddlin? Poetry? and more are planned in 2007/8, also his play, ?Funny Ha ha? the story of an up and coming comedian is already courting interest from Stage producers. Andy is always in demand for live performances and his clients in 2007 included; Thomson Gold, Warners, Disney Cruise Lines, Norwegian cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean,The Ashcroft Theatre Croydon and many others?? Andy is delighted to be appearing as Smee in Peter Pan this year at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.
